"Every Day" by David Levithan follows A; a gender-less soul who wakes up inside of a different body each morning. Every day, A tries to live the life of the person whose body A occupies. A is really good at keeping A's existence a secret...that is, until A wakes up in the body of Justin and A meets Justin's girlfriend: Rhiannon. But, how can A have a relationship with Rhiannon (or anyone for that matter) when A involuntarily inhabits a different body every day? Also, what would happen to A if the secret of A's existence was discovered? Why I choose this book... -I really enjoyed reading this book -"Every Day" is a very unique and interesting read...I have never read anything like it before -This book is a relatively short and easy read - it's a perfect book to read at the beach or by the pool :) -If you enjoy this book, David Levithan has written other books as well; including the sequel to "Every Day" (which is called "Someday") -I haven't seen it yet, but "Every Day" was just made into a movie

"After" by Anna Todd focuses on the events that happen after a preppy college freshman named Tessa meets a handsome but complicated bad boy named Hardin Scott.
I chose this book because... - "After" is one of my new favourite books! - I had a hard time putting this book down because there were so many unexpected twists and turns - Even though the book was relatively long, it was an easy read - If you enjoyed "After", there are more books in the series ("After We Collided", "After We Fell", and "After Ever Happy")...I just finished book 2 and cannot wait to start book 3! - You can read the book for free on "Wattpad" - https://www.wattpad.com/story/5095707-after - Lastly, if you enjoyed reading about "Hessa", "After" just got made into a movie...I haven't seen it yet but I am planning on watching it soon Hope you are having a great summer so far :) |
